CHILD DEVELOPMENTAL STAGES: KNOW WELL ABOUT THEM

After birth of child, he has to undergo many child developmental stages. Though it is also true that each child learns at their own pace and some children pass child developmental stages sooner than others where children learn that they have to pass and conquer one stage so that they can move towards other.Parents who are aware of all these stages know well what their child can do and what can not do.

It is also a fun to see your child passing one developmental stage and moving towards other. All these developmental stages can also be called as developmental milestones. Child developmental stages in terms of baby’s physical developmental stages follow this sequence. First an infant learns to lift his head while he lies on his belly. Then he learns to bear his weight on his arms.

One day he can roll over on his back and then he learns to roll over his arms. Then he begins to crawl. After crawling he tries to stand with some support and then he can walk with the help of these supports. One day he becomes strong enough to walk on his feet with out any support and help. This is typical chart which every baby has to follow though some babies start to walk earlier than the others.

But it is also a fact that a baby can not walk until he can not sit. Parents can support their children in passing all these developmental stages and those babies who are given a tough tummy time pass all these stages more frequent than babies who mostly spend their time in car seats, baby seats and swings.

Language of a bay also undergoes many developmental stages as a baby first learns to coo but after cooing he attempts to imitate sounds he hears. Then babies begin to say words meaningfully and after sometime they start to speak complete word. Parents can encourage their child in going through these language developmental stages by simply speaking with them.
